Mission of the Book

God’s gift of marriage and sex is amazing, beautiful, fulfilling. But the gift has been progressively trivialized and misunderstood.

Gordon M Baker seeks in A Thousand Tears from Home to pull back the curtain, to re-vision us with a glimpse of what we have lost. It is a tale from the past that speaks to the present.

The novel, set in New Zealand, celebrates the age-old theme of romance. For the young, and not-so-young. For teens, twenties, and beyond. For parents, pastors, grandparents, and teachers.

A Friend’s Commendation:

Gordon, thank you for the opportunity to read your work. I believe God brings us into contact with others for his glory, and I believe he has brought me into contact with you for that reason. I think you have accomplished something very special here as a writer. With God’s grace, I hope your work finds its way into the hands of countless others because I know it will edify them the way it has edified me.
